Priority Air Ambulance is a first responder service based in Uganda.
We bring the hospital to the patient when time is critical. Priority Air Ambulance is a membership based service and a licensed Non-Government Organisation (NGO), providing specialised air ambulance services to our members and the public. We are proud to be Uganda’s first licensed Air Ambulance provider licensed under the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC) which is a department of the Uganda Ministry of Health.
Unlike with medical evacuation, health or travel insurance, Priority Air Ambulance is a first-responder; meaning we bring the hospital to the patient at the scene of the incident and provide the medical assistance needed to save life. We provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), through our in-house medical division, within minutes’ notice to launch, 24 hours a day.

Headquartered in Kajjansi Airfield, we use helicopters from sunrise to sunset in combination with airplanes and ground ambulances to provide 24 hour coverage. With a trained in-house medical division and trusted industry partners with a proven track record in Uganda, we deliver the highest level of service and care.
To help grow our ability to respond to as many urgent requirements, national disasters and provide as broad a range of skills as possible Priority Air Ambulance is actively seeking both donations and grants from individuals or organisations.
